What we've been up to!
We’re finally back after so much time out due to the pandemic.
We have been booked over a number of years as Ladies Night Band for the Lodge Of Unity Ladies Festival. This time at the rather magnificent Bailbrook House in Bath.
What a great night – guests very keen to get back to a party and up and dancing from first song right thorough to end of evening- Wonderful audience to play for. Great to be back!!
We saw in the New Year in style at Champneys Henlow. Thankfully the usual very healthy style was relaxed and plenty of champagne flowing to get everyone in the party mood and dancing till the early hours.
We are delighted to have been selected to play for a Grand Black Tie Ball in October 2017 as part of the celebrations of the tercentenary anniversary of Freemasonry (300 years). We are well known with our trio (and often quartet) as one of the established bands for Masonic Ladies Nights but as the ball is for around 600 guests this will be our full five piece band line-up including female vocalist and sax player.
Although Freemasonry is thought to date back to the stone masons of the Middle Ages this anniversary celebrates the founding of the world’s first “Grand Lodge” in 1717. This timeline shows the history of Freemasonry.
First time visit for us as Masonic Ladies Night Band to the Pavilion at Luton on Saturday.
Compact but tasteful venue hidden away in the outskirts of the town. We had the four piece with girl singer line-up – crowd was up and dancing straight away – just a shame that the evening seemed to fly by and was over all too soon!
Our Masonic Ladies Nights season got off to a flying start with our appearance as the Ladies Night Band for New Century Lodge on Saturday. We had a bigger line up than the usual trio as had our regular sax man Paul as well to make it a 4 piece band.
What a great crowd – dancing and singing all night long.

Good night at Wotton House last Tuesday – first time at this stunning venue near Dorking. Unusual room with lots of ornate pillars.
Was bigger party band line-up with Gayle (excellent singer) – corporate AGM and more interested in singing along at the bar rather than dancing (fine with us!) gave us a change to put in a few new Jessie J and Adele numbers though.
Have now joined the “blogging community”.
Will be updating on what the band is up to and also anything interesting I come across when performing as pianist and keyboard player.
